Shakira’s real name is Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll. She was born on February 2, 1977, in Barranquilla, Colombia. She is mainly a singer and a songwriter but a fantastic dancer. The media has titled her the Queen of Latin Music.

She made her first debut when she was just 13 years old. Furthermore, she gained success after two of her albums’ subsequent failures were released in 1991 and 1993, respectively. She has done versatile work in several languages, such as English and Spanish.
