Rosario Dawson

Rosario Isabel Dawson (born May 9, 1979) is an actress and producer from the United States. In the 1995 independent drama Kids, she made her feature film debut. He Got Game (1998), Josie and the Pussycats (2001), Men in Black II (2002), Rent (2005), Sin City (2005), Clerks II (2006), Death Proof (2007), Seven Pounds (2008), Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010), Unstoppable (2010), Zookeeper (2011), Trance (2013), Top Five (2014), and Zombieland: Double Tap (2014) are just a few of her subsequent film roles (2019). Dawson has also done voice-over work for Disney/Marvel, Warner Bros./DC Comics, and Nickelodeon, a division of ViacomCBS.

Dawson earned the Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actress – Motion Picture for her performance in Rent. In addition, she was nominated for the Critics’ Choice Movie Award for Best Actress in a Comedy for her performance in the Top Five. Dawson has also starred in several comic-book adaptations.

Gail in Sin City (2005) and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014), Claire Temple in five Marvel/Netflix series (2015–2018), and Diana Prince/Wonder Woman in the DC Animated Movie Universe and Space Jam: A New Legacy, as well as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl in The Lego Batman Movie are among her credits. She played Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian’s second season in 2020, and she is expected to appear in the upcoming Disney+ original series Ahsoka. In addition, she has recurring roles in Young Rock, a Dwayne Johnson autobiographical comedy series, and Dopesick, a Hulu miniseries, both in 2021.
