Nicole Scherzinger is an American singer, actress, and television personality born Nicole Prascovia Elikolani Valiente on June 29, 1978. She began performing at 14 and studied musical theatre at Wright State University. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and reared in Louisville, Kentucky. Scherzinger dropped out of college to pursue a career in music, touring with the American rock band Days of the New before finding small success with Eden’s Crush, a girl group formed through The WB’s Popstars. Scherzinger has sold more than 16 million records as a solo artist and has been nominated for the Grammys and Laurence Olivier Awards. Her other business pursuits include clothing lines and a fragrance and working as a Special Olympics ambassador and a UNICEF UK supporter.
