Naomi Watts

Naomi Ellen Watts (born September 28, 1968) is an English actress who began her career in Australia with appearances in the television shows “Hey Dad…!” (1990), “Brides of Christ” (1991), “E Street” (1991), and “Home and Away” (1991). (1991). Her debut film role was in “For Love Alone” (1986), after which she appeared in several B-rated films, including “Children of the Corn IV: The Gathering” (1996), as well as several TV programs.

Naomi’s career made a giant leap forward when she appeared in filmmaker David Lynch’s Mulholland Drive (2001), a critically praised picture that helped establish herself as a new series star. She went on to star in successful films such as The Ring (2002), 21 Grams (2003), and King Kong, winning numerous awards (2005),…, She was nominated for an Academy Award for the film 21 Grams in 2004 and has won numerous other cinema accolades.
