Nancy is the lead rapper of her group MOMOLAND. She was born in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province. She attended Yonsei University where she studied sociology and psychology before joining the K-Pop industry. Nancy was recruited by the management company Duble Kick Entertainment as an upcoming trainee at age 15.
