She is a Bulgarian sprinter who excels in the 100 and 200-meter sprints. She is the 13th-fastest female 100-meter runner in history. [1] At the 2004 Summer Olympics, she finished fourth in the 100 meters and fifth in the 200 meters. Between June 2005 and May 2007, her career was halted for two years owing to a leg injury acquired in a collision with another competitor. In June 2012, she won gold in the Women’s 100 meters at the 2012 European Athletics Championships. In July 2016, she earned two silver medals at the 2016 European Athletics Championships, one in the Women’s 100 meters and another in the Women’s 200 meters. She has competed in five Olympic Games.
