Huda Kattan quit her finance job in Dubai to make her own synthetic and faux mix eyelashes, after she couldn't find quality options as a freelance makeup artist. Her lashes sold out within the first day with customers like Kim Kardashian. She's since expanded to offer a skincare line, as well.

Her best advice: "Loving what you do is the key ingredient, so start with these basic questions: Why do I want to start a business? Do I like the industry enough to be living and breathing it 24/7?
