After playing soccer in college, Britt McHenry began her career as a sports anchor and reporter for ABC News in Washington, DC. In 2014, ESPN hired her after a short stint as a dugout reporter for the San Diego Padres. She’s been on several shows, including SportsCenter, NFL Live, and Baseball Tonight.
McHenry recently made news for the wrong reasons when she was caught on film making nasty statements to a tow lot employee. She then issued an apology on Twitter, blaming her outburst on stress and emotions. She was given a one-week suspension, but ESPN didn’t terminate her despite several calls for her to be fired from the network.
