Also known as Alicia Augello Cook, she was born on January 25, 1981, in New York City, U.S. She was an early bloomer and was interested in music ever since she was 12 years old. Furthermore, by the age of 15, she signed her first contract with Columbia Records.
Her first album Fallin sold for over 12 million copies which was a significant breakthrough in her singing career. After that, she released several albums, all of which were critically acclaimed and received generous amounts of love from her fans.
