Thandar Soe @ Soe Myanmar is working as the freelance professional woman photographer with 15 years experiences on photography training, photo shooting and photo-tour guide services in Myanmar, since 2010.
She is graduated (B.Sc.), and started photography studied in 2009 at Myanmar Photography Society (MPS) obtained degrees of photography on LMPS, 2012 and AMPS, 2014. She participated in many Outdoor Photo-shooting Missions and Photo Exhibitions with MPS.
Since 2010, she started participating at competitions at the international photo contests and achieved the 2nd Place Winner in the Better Photo online photo contest. She joined the Better Photo Website Gallery and participating in their photo contests and achieved many prizes.
She continuously competing in international competitions on photo contests in various countries, and many of her pictures were selected at various good levels of winning status.
Since 2010 until now, she also participated in many local photo contests, including competitions held by the Myanmar Photography Society, and won various prizes including the First Prize Winner of the Golden Harp Trophy, the highest award of the Myanmar Photography Society.
As she was one of the outstanding photographers, Myanmar Photography Society had assigned her to train young photographers for international photo competitions. The two outstanding young photographers were specifically trained by her, one of them received the First Prize, and another person also got an award. They got international awards on two consecutive years.
In 2016 and 2017, as the only female photographer she got opportunities to showcase the capabilities of the ASUS Zenfone 3 and Zenfone 4 mobile phones camera.
Since 2016, with good experience on outdoor landscape photography and on tour sites for photo shooting sceneries and viewpoints, she had worked as first woman Photo-Tour Guide, where she was helping the participants on camera settings and shooting positions, recognized as best Photo-Tour Guide by Luminous Journeys, USA. She has high interest to supporting strengthening the Women Empowerment in Photography Industry
With all her excellence achievements, she has applied to the Women Icons Organization and was successfully selected as “Outstanding Woman Photographer “.
