Alfre Woodard was born in 1952 in America. She is an actress, producer, and political activist. Alfre Woodard has won many awards for her roles in film and television. She is best known for her role as Betty Shabazz in the film “The Autobiography of Malcolm X.” She was the first black woman to win an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She was nominated for an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and an Academy Award. She was nominated three times for the Emmy Award.
