At Boston College, Molly McGrath began her career in sports reporting by doing interviews for the school’s website and working as an intern for NESN and WHDH-TV. Then, as a production assistant at ESPN, the former college cheerleader was eventually employed by the Boston Celtics as an in-arena presenter. In addition, a position as a sideline reporter for Fox Sports’ coverage of college football and basketball and the NFL was secured due to her outstanding performance in that area. With her hiring by ESPN as a college football sideline reporter and co-host of College Football Live in 2016, she completed a full circle in her professional journey.
