Dianna Russini may not be the most well-known figure on our list, but she deserves our attention just as much as any female sportscaster. Russini, a Bronx native, played soccer at George Mason University before embarking on a career in sports journalism. She gained notoriety in Connecticut due to her work for NBC, where she covered both news and sports. She joined SportsCenter in 2015 as a reporter. She told The Washington Post at the time of her ESPN deal that it was something she had dreamed of doing her whole life.
