Heather Deen Locklear (born September 25, 1961) is an actress from the United States. Her first notable television role was as Sammy Jo Carrington on Dynasty from 1981 to 1989, marking the start of her long-running partnership with producer Aaron Spelling. She is well renowned for her four straight Golden Globe nominations for Best Actress – Television Series Drama for Amanda Woodward on Melrose Place (1993–99). Officer Stacy Sheridan on T. J. Hooker (1982–86) and Caitlin Moore on Spin City (1999–2002). She received two Golden Globe nominations for Best Actress – Television Series Musical or Comedy, two of her other significant television appearances. In 2013, she had a recurring part on TV Land’s sitcom Hot in Cleveland and a lead role on TNT’s drama-comedy series Franklin & Bash.

The science-fiction thriller Firestarter (1984), the action-comedy Money Talks (1997), the live-action/animated comedy Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003), and the romantic comedy The Perfect Man (2005) are among Locklear’s significant cinematic roles.
