Patricia Davies Clarkson is an actress from the United States who was born on December 29, 1959. She has appeared in films such as The Station Agent, The Green Mile, Far from Heaven, High Art, Dogville, Good Night, and Good Luck, Easy A, and Cairo Time in both primary and supporting parts. For her portrayal in Pieces of April, she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress and a Golden Globe (2003). Her recurrent appearance in Six Feet Under earned her two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series. For her portrayal in The Elephant Man, she was nominated for a Tony Award in 2015.
