Kate Garry Hudson (born April 19, 1979) is an actress from the United States. She is most known for her work as Penny Lane in the comedy-drama Almost Famous (2000), for which she won a Golden Globe and was nominated for an Academy Award for best-supporting actress. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003), Raising Helen (2004), The Skeleton Key (2005), You, Me, and Dupree (2006), Fool’s Gold (2008), Bride Wars (2009), and The Reluctant Fundamentalist (2009) are among her other credits (2012). In the musical comedy series Glee, she plays Cassandra July.
Hudson is also a co-founder of Fabletics, a JustFab workout program
