Sandra Annette Bullock (pronounced /blk/) is an American actress born on July 26, 1964. She rose to prominence in the 1990s after roles in films such as Demolition Man (1993), Speed (1994), The Net (1995), While You Were Sleeping (1995), A Time to Kill (1996), and Hope Floats (1997). (1998). Bullock established her career in the new millennium with critically acclaimed parts in the films Miss Congeniality (2000) and Crash (2004). With an estimated income of US$85 million, she was rated 14th on the list of the wealthiest female stars in the entertainment industry in 2007. [1] Bullock’s career peaked in 2009 when she starred in two critically acclaimed films, The Proposal[2] and The Blind Side[3], both of which were box office hits. She won numerous cinematic accolades in Best Actress for The Blind Side, including the Academy Award and the Golden Globe Award. She is the only actress to have won two opposite accolades in the same year, the Oscar for Best Actress and the Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Actress for All About Steve.
